Dear Mr. Hoag:
In February, an oil delivery to our house spilled into our basement as well as onto our garage floor and wall. Our oil company (Norfolk Oil) hired your firm to help in cleaning up the spill. We want to thank you for the very professional job in what turned out to be a difficult task over the ensuing six weeks.
Yolanda Zavada did a great job supervising the work. She returned phone calls in a timeley manner and did an excellent job keeping us informed about next steps and timetables. She also delivered a negative air machine to us on a Saturday when the oil smell in the house became unbearably strong. Without her intervention, we would have had to have left the house for the weekend. Gina was also very helpful in checking the progress of the work on site and communicating with us.
The workers you sent were the best! They were unfailingly polite and extremely hard working. David Ramos worked diligently in digging out our garage floor, which is gravel on top of dirt, on two separate occasions. The dirt was hard packed and the sun was hot, but he and his partner did not let up until the job was done. Oscar Portillo did an amazing job taking out the oil contaminated wall in our garage and rebuilding it. The pride he took in his work showed in the final results. Luis Hernandez also did terrific work in replacing our vent and fill pipe to bring them up to code. Every one of these workers was very respectful of our property. Leaving the premises neater than they found them.
While we hope we never go through another oil spill, we would not hesitate to recommend your firm to anyone we know who has a similar misfortune. We think you have a great team working with you. Thank you again for a job well done.

I am writing this letter to memorialize the tremendous work that CommTank Inc. performed for the City of Revere in connection with the environmental spill at the Beachmont School.
As you know, the discovery of the oil spill at the Beachmont School in November of 2002 created an enormous environmental, regulatory and financial problem for the City of Revere. Yet, from the first day when CommTank arrived on site to begin the emergency cleanup, the City felt confident that it had an intelligent, qualified and professional entity leading its response. Throughout the many months of cleanup, CommTank was an extremely effective partner with the City, working cooperatively with the Licensed Site Professional, DEP representatives, the City's other environmental consultants and school personnel to manage the project. Due in large part to CommTank's professionalism the City was able to perform this exhaustive cleanup effort with minimal disruption to academic work within the school building.

If anyone has to go through with an oil tank removal CommTank is the company to do the job. My initial contact was with you and Luis Diaz and you both were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. I cannot remember all the other names, but everyone was terrific. There were many steps throughout the process and at every step I was very well informed. The scheduling, coordination and communication was simply outstanding. There were a couple of very tough weather days with heavy rain, but that did not stop CommTank from showing up on time and working through the difficult elements. At each step the cleanup was great, including putting back the hedges that had to be removed to access the specific site.

Hi Mike,
The crew came out last Friday to complete the Fill/Vent pipe re-location from the previous installation. I'm much happier with the way it turned out now, as the pipes are about a foot and a half above ground level and have a much better cement job than the previous installation. While it was unfortunate that the crew had to come back, the crew chief made sure that I was happy with the work this time. He was apologetic about having to come back and spent a lot of time on the details to make sure the re-location was done satisfactorily.

Hi Dan;
I had two 275-gallon oil tanks removed from my house. The two gentlemen that came to do the work were here 10 minutes early from the promised appointment. The men were just that, gentlemen. I felt very comfortable with them in my house. They were courteous, spoke intelligently, and were very informative about the procedure. They were methodical about the way they went about their business. In one hour and fifteen minutes the job was complete. They patched the foundation wall, and made the fuel lines under the slab safe. They swept up the floor where the tanks were. The best testimony however, despite having to remove the waste oil and cutting the tanks in half for removal, my wife could not smell any oil when she got home from work.
I would recommend Commtank to anyone who needs an oil tank removed.
The price for such great service was very reasonable. Truly a good experience for me and my family.
