The next step was to get approval from the Fire Department to replace the leaking day tank with a 500-gallon double wall aboveground storage tank. Once we got the okay to start we installed bollards and poured a new cement pad. Then the new tank was installed on the pad and piped to the generator. The old day tank was cleaned and filled with cement. Once completed the unit was tested, fired up, and ready for operation.
