Eastern Bank
The tank at this site was 15 years old and it provided the heat for the multi-story building, in addition to fuel for the backup generator. We were asked to test the steel 10,000-gallon tank in 2005. The tank passed the test but the bank decided it would plan for replacing the tank in 2007 so it could avoid a scenario of having to replace it in an emergency situation.

Somerville High School
On December 26, 2006 City of Somerville officials requested that CommTank respond to a release of fuel oil in the boiler room at the Somerville High School building. Because of winter break, no teachers or students were in the building.

Westover Air Force
This job originally consisted of removing a 1000-gallon UST and installing a 275-gallon AST. It was expanded to include 15 buildings with upgrades to many tanks to bring them up to code.

Umass Medical Lifeline Helicopter
This project was important to us because we earned the trust of a hospital that provides an emergency service. CommTank relocated a fuel system and tested the fuel storage tank used by the helicopters.
