FedEx Express Ship Center Oil Water Separator Relining
FedEx brought in CommTank for a second opinion when an engineering firm inspected the 1,000-gallon collection tank that was the first section of an oil water separator system and found it to be faulty. The engineering firm proposed condemning the underground tank and removing it from the property. CommTank performed a nondestructive test (NDT) on the metal walls of the tank and found that the tank could be reused if a 12-inch section of the tank bottom was patched and the entire tank was relined.

Charlton Manor Rest Home Fire Suppression Tank Lining
The owner of Charlton Manor had been informed by a state inspector that the water suppression tank for the sprinkler system did not meet standards and they would have to replace it. Commtank inspected the tank and was able to work with Colby Fire Protection and the state inspector to remedy the situation.

Interplex Etch Logic – Aboveground Storage Tank Restoration
Interplex Etch Logic was established following the acquisition of the metal chemical etching division of Texas Instruments, considered by many to be the world's leading reel-to-reel chemical etcher. They contacted CommTank to repair a tank used to store processed wastewater. The tank was an open-top steel tank and some erosion was evident on the inner tank walls. The customer expressed that the tank needed welding repairs. They also wanted to coat the tank with an epoxy lining after sandblasting and repairs were done.
