Billerica House of Correction Third Party Inspection
The purpose of a underground tank screening is to ensure the tank is up to code. This step is helpful for owners of older tanks that may require updates before an actual inspection is performed. Before the work took place the employees working on site had to obtain a security clearance. CommTank employees then inspected the underground tanks and made recommendations to repair them. An interstitial leak sensor in one of the underground tanks failed so we removed the existing sensor, pumped the water from the interstitial space, and installed a new water and oil-detecting sensor. We then sealed off the conduit inside the sump and tested the Veer-Root system to make sure the new interstitial sensor was working properly. |
