Middlesex School Underground Tank Installation
The project included the removal of a cement pad that covered the tank which was inside a cement vault. CommTank removed the old tank and installed a fiberglass double-wall tank, that included a containment sump, Veeder-root tank management system, and overfill prevention devices. Once installed, the tank was tested using pressure to the manufacturers specification of 4 PSI, and the secondary containment was vacuum tested to -15 PSI. After placing gasoline in the tank, satisfactory operation of the the monitoring system is ensured prior to being placed in operation.
