After calling our lining suppliers we found one that could guarantee a compatible surface to this chemical blend. Before applying the coating the tank had to be sand blasted down to white steel. Not even rust inside a pitting would be acceptable. The tank was then primed and coated using the 2-part epoxy system. Due to thermal requirements the coating application process had to be tightly coordinated and safety protocols were strictly adhered to.
