Catania Spagna Vegetable Oil Tank Cleaning

This project consisted of pumping out, cleaning and testing twenty-two 5000-gallon aboveground steel storage tanks. After the each tank was emptied of usable vegetable oil, CommTank scraped out the remaining sludge and placed the material in drums. The steel tanks bottoms were then cleaned and measurements were taken using an ultrasonic thickness gauge to verify the soundness of the tank bottom. A report was generated for each tank and provided to Catania Spagna at the conclusion of the project.
