City of Quincy Underground Tank Pipe Replacement and Dispenser Installation

This project consisted of the conversion of one tank from premium gasoline to diesel fuel and the re-piping of both tanks to two new dispensers. The existing tanks are fiberglass 30,000-gallon regular gasoline and 10,000-gallon premium gasoline. The tanks are double-walled fiberglass underground storage tanks (USTs) at 450 Southern Artery, in Quincy, Massachusetts. The piping installation included double-walled piping in secondary containment, a new product-level monitoring system, an electrical system, and monitoring wells. In addition, the installation included two (2) submersible fuel pumps; two (2) double-hose fuel dispensers; an automated transaction control system; a UST monitoring system; Kiosk; Canopy; and a Fire Suppression system.

Cement pads are poured and UST manways are installed.

Bollards are installed to protect the new fill and vent piping. Fuel delivery vehicles will fill the tank at this location.

A diesel fuel dispenser is installed for the Quincy truck fleet.
